# Not getting alerts?

> Work out why, in order of how likely each cause is.

Start with which of these describes you. The causes are completely different.

<Tabs>
  <Tab title="No alerts at all">
    Nothing since you set up, or nothing for days.

    <Steps>
      <Step title="Check your plan is active">
        Send `/status`. If it says your trial or plan has ended, tracking has stopped. Renew from `/upgrade`.

        On the **free** tier you keep 2 slots and still get alerts — but anything above 2 accounts was archived.
      </Step>

      <Step title="Check alerts are not all switched off">
        `/status` says **❌ None — alerts paused** when every toggle is off. Open **⚙️ Settings** in `/menu` and turn 🚀 Launch and 🚨 Created back on.
      </Step>

      <Step title="Check you actually have accounts tracked">
        Send `/list`. An empty list is the single most common cause — an `/add` that failed because the handle was misspelled leaves you tracking nothing.
      </Step>

      <Step title="Check you have not blocked the bot">
        If you ever blocked or cleared the chat, Telegram stops delivering. Send `/start` to @xhuntrbot again.
      </Step>

      <Step title="Give it time">
        If all four are fine, nothing you track has moved yet. This is normal — see below.
      </Step>
    </Steps>
  </Tab>

  <Tab title="Missing one kind of alert">
    You get some alerts, but never the type you care about.

    <Steps>
      <Step title="Check that specific toggle">
        Open **⚙️ Settings** in `/menu`. Every category is independent — 🚨 Created, 👀 Joined, 🚀 Launch, 📡 CA, 📌 Pin change, 🔥 Convergence, 🗑 Deleted/Left, 🔗 Referrals.
      </Step>

      <Step title="For Convergence: check you track enough accounts">
        🔥 Convergence needs **two or more** tracked accounts to land in the same community. With one account tracked it can never fire.
      </Step>

      <Step title="For Launch: expect it to be rare">
        🚀 Launch only fires when a coin traces to a community the KOL owns. Most coin activity produces 👁 Coin Mention instead. Getting Mentions but no Launches is normal, not broken.
      </Step>

      <Step title="For EarlyHunt: check the campaign is on and not over-filtered">
        A campaign with **Require verified** on filters out most real launch accounts. See [Tuning campaigns](/earlyhunt/tuning).
      </Step>
    </Steps>
  </Tab>

  <Tab title="Alerts stopped suddenly">
    You were getting them, and then they stopped.

    <Steps>
      <Step title="Check your plan did not just expire">
        `/status`. Expiry is the usual answer, and you get a reminder before it happens.
      </Step>

      <Step title="Check whether the account went dark">
        If a tracked account locks its profile or its communities stop being visible, XHuntr sends you a notice rather than going silently quiet. Check `/history` for one.
      </Step>

      <Step title="Check the account still exists">
        Deleted and suspended accounts are removed from your list automatically, with a message. Check `/list` to see whether they are still on it.
      </Step>

      <Step title="Check you came back from a break">
        After a lapse, XHuntr re-snapshots your accounts and stays deliberately quiet for a short window so you are not flooded with everything you missed. Alerts resume after it.
      </Step>
    </Steps>
  </Tab>
</Tabs>

## Quiet is often correct

XHuntr alerts on **change** measured against the snapshot taken when you added an account. Their existing communities are the starting point, not news — so a brand-new list is silent by design until someone actually moves.

If a full week passes with nothing across several accounts, the problem is usually **who** you track rather than the bot. Accounts that never touch communities generate nothing. See [Track accounts](/tracking/add-accounts) for what is worth a slot.

<Tip>
  `/status` shows **alerts received** as a running total. If that number is climbing, delivery is working and the question is only which accounts are quiet.
</Tip>

## Still nothing

Open **❓ Help** in `/menu` and tap **Contact Support**. Include:

* What `/status` says
* What `/list` shows
* Which alert types you expected
* Roughly when you last got one
