# Paying

> Paying in SOL or Telegram Stars, and what to do if a payment does not land.

## Paying in SOL

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open checkout">
    Send `/upgrade` and pick a plan. The bot quotes the exact SOL amount and shows the address to send it to.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Send the exact amount">
    Send that amount from any Solana wallet. There is no account to connect and no wallet to link — XHuntr only watches for the payment on-chain.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Wait for confirmation">
    Your plan activates automatically once the transfer confirms. You get a message; `/status` shows the new expiry.
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Warning>
  Send the **exact quoted amount**. The quote is tied to your checkout, and an underpayment is treated as a partial payment rather than activating the plan.
</Warning>

## Paying with Telegram Stars

If you would rather not touch a wallet, checkout also offers **⭐ Pay with Telegram Stars**, billed through Telegram itself.

## Why there is no account

XHuntr is non-custodial in the fullest sense: it never holds your funds, never asks for a private key, never connects to your wallet, and has no login. Your Telegram account *is* your identity, and a payment is just a transfer that the bot verifies on-chain.

## If a payment does not activate

On-chain confirmation is usually quick, but not always instant.

  <Accordion title="I sent it and nothing happened">
    Give it a few minutes, then send `/status`. If the plan still has not moved, contact support from the **Help** screen with your transaction signature. Payments are verified against the chain, so a real transfer can always be found and credited.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="I was told it was a partial payment">
    The amount received was below the quoted price. Contact support with the signature — do not send a second full payment before checking.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="My discount did not apply">
    Discounts are applied automatically and never stack, so the best single offer wins. If you expected one and did not get it, re-open `/upgrade` — some offers are time-limited and may have expired.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Checkout keeps sending me back">
    Close it and send `/upgrade` again to start a fresh quote.
  </Accordion>

## When your plan ends

You get a reminder before expiry. When it lapses, tracking stops and any accounts over the free limit are archived rather than deleted — see [Slots and limits](/tracking/slots).

Coming back later is safe: XHuntr re-snapshots your accounts and stays quiet briefly before resuming, so you are not hit with a burst of stale alerts for everything that happened while you were away.
