Alert types
Not every alert means the same thing. The two coin alerts in particular look alike, and treating a Coin Mention as a Launch is the most common mistake new users make.
Launch vs Coin Mention
Section titled “Launch vs Coin Mention”🚀 Launch: the new coin’s launch tweet links a community the account owns. Rare. It is the closest XHuntr gets to showing the coin is theirs.
👁 Coin Mention: a new coin links their profile or one of their tweets. Common. Anyone can do this to anyone.
Coin Mentions are graded
Section titled “Coin Mentions are graded”The second line of a Coin Mention says how much to trust it:

| Tagged their name — could be theirs, usually a vamp | The default. Treat as a lead only. |
| Links a tweet they posted — could be their launch, or a recycled tweet | Possible, but old tweets get reused. Verify the CA. |
| 🏰 Serial community creator (N) — likely theirs | They create or run N communities, so it is likely theirs. Not certain. |
| 🚀 Coined Nm after their own tweet — likely theirs | The coin appeared minutes after their tweet. Likely theirs. |
| 🔥 Minted Nm after their tweet — likely a real launch | Strong chance it is real. Still verify the CA. |
When several new coins name the same account at once, you get one message instead of many. (A few coins at once arrive as one list, 👁 @somekol linked by N new coins; a large wave is collapsed to a warning.)
Every signal alert ends with ℹ️ Not proof · DYOR. A name on a coin is not evidence.
Community alerts

| 🚨 NEW COMMUNITY CREATED | A tracked account created an X community. Rare since April 2026, when X stopped letting accounts create new communities — joins are now the main community signal. |
| 🏠 KOL JOINED A COMMUNITY | A tracked account joined someone else’s community. May carry ✅ Verified in member list. |
| 📝 COMMUNITY RENAMED | A community changed its name, often right before a push. Shows old ➜ new name and ⚡ Detected within ~Ns. |
| 📋 COMMUNITY DESCRIPTION UPDATED | The description changed. A contract address in it also triggers a CA alert. |
| 🖼 COMMUNITY BANNER UPDATED | The banner image changed. |
| 🗑 COMMUNITY DELETED | A community no longer exists on X. |

| 👥 Member spike | A community grew by 25+ members and by a quarter of its size within 6 hours. |
Anatomy of a community alert
Section titled “Anatomy of a community alert”Join policy is 🟢 Open, 🟡 Request or 🔴 Invite only. The (detected 6s later) part is how far ahead you are: a community found seconds after creation is one almost nobody has seen.
If a joined alert turns out to be wrong, XHuntr follows up: ⚠️ Heads up: @user might have left … — initial alert may have been a false positive.
Convergence
Section titled “Convergence”Fires when two or more accounts you track end up in the same community. A single join can mean little; several of your accounts in one community is a stronger link. It needs at least two tracked accounts, which is why the free plan keeps two slots.

When an account goes dark
Section titled “When an account goes dark”If a tracked account’s communities stop being visible (privacy settings, a lock, a platform change), XHuntr tells you rather than going quiet, and sends an all-clear when they are visible again. Silence that is really “no visibility” is the failure this prevents.
