XHuntr reads public X data: the same profiles, tweets and communities anyone can open in a browser. It never touches your wallet, your DMs or anything private. It watches that public data continuously so you do not have to.
When you add an account, XHuntr records every community it is in right now. That record is the baseline. From then on you are alerted on the difference between the baseline and what the account looks like now.
Every tracked account is re-checked on a continuous cycle, and tweets are read as they are posted. When a check finds something the baseline does not have (a new community, a rename, a contract address), that becomes an alert and the baseline updates.
Alerts are near-real-time, not instant. Community alerts show how long detection took, for example (detected 4s later).
Accounts are tracked by their permanent X ID, not their handle. A KOL who renames keeps their place on your list.
Things disappearing is signal too. A deleted community, a left community or a deleted CA tweet each produce an alert.
If a tracked account is suspended or deactivated, XHuntr tells you and takes it off your list for now. It keeps checking the account by its X ID and puts it back automatically if it returns, even under a new handle. If a handle simply does not exist on X, it is removed and you are asked to check the spelling.
These notices can be switched off with ⚠️ KOL status in Settings.
Removing an account and adding it back takes a fresh baseline. You will not be told about anything that happened in between.
If your plan lapsed and you come back, XHuntr re-snapshots your accounts and stays quiet for a short window before alerting again. Without that, every change made while you were away would arrive at once.
