Tuning campaigns

A campaign is one set of keywords plus the filters that decide which matching posts are worth waking you for. Each campaign has an on/off switch, and you can run several (see plan limits).

Keywords

A post matching any keyword in a campaign is a candidate. The filters then decide whether it alerts.

Keywords under 3 characters are refused: they match almost every tweet and burn the search budget your other campaigns rely on.

Good keywords are launch-specific: fair launch, stealth launch, live on pump, bonding curve, ca in bio. Weak keywords are generic hype words every account uses: soon, bullish, gm.

Tip

Treat keyword slots as a budget. A keyword that has never produced anything worth opening costs coverage you could spend on one that does.

Exclude list

Up to 30 exclude terms per campaign. A post containing an excluded word is dropped even if it matched a keyword. Matching is on whole words, so nft does not catch nfts (templates list both).

This is the fastest way to fix a noisy campaign. If fair launch keeps bringing NFT mints, add nft rather than deleting the keyword.

Caution

An exclude term cannot match one of the campaign’s own keywords, or nothing would ever alert. XHuntr refuses those and says why: ⚠️ Skipped launch — it matches one of this campaign’s own keywords, so nothing would ever alert. Exclude something narrower, like nft launch.

Filters

🕒 Min age	Ignore accounts younger than this. The floor under ⏳ Age.
💊 Prior CAs	Only accounts that have posted at most N contract addresses before (none ever, ≤1, ≤2, ≤3), or off. Cuts serial launchers.
📝 Min posts	Ignore accounts with fewer posts than this
🔵 Blue ✓	Verified accounts only
🪙 Needs CA	Only posts that contain a contract address. The biggest noise cut, but you lose the pre-launch window.
🔥 Front-run	The opposite: skip posts that already show a CA. What makes Front-Run templates early.
⛓ Chain	Any, Solana, Robinhood or Arc. With a CA the chain is proven on-chain. Without one, Robinhood is guessed from the text (marked unverified); Arc is never guessed.
🎯 Launches only	Only tweets that name a coin or announce a launch. Replies are skipped.
🔁 Repeats	one per coin: same account, same coin alerts once and later tweets are added under it. one a day per coin: the same, once a day. every tweet: everything. A new coin from the same account always alerts.

Fixing a noisy campaign

In order of how much noise each removes for how little reach you lose:

1. Add exclude terms. Look at the last few junk alerts and exclude the word they share.
2. Turn on 🎯 Launches only to drop replies and chatter.
3. Tighten 👥 Follows to filter bot farms.
4. Narrow the keywords. launch becomes fair launch.
5. Turn on 🪙 Needs CA. Near-zero noise, but no pre-launch signal.

Fixing a campaign that never fires

Usually over-filtering. Check the campaign switch is on, then loosen in this order: a wider ⏳ Age or 👥 Follows, 🪙 Needs CA off, 💊 Prior CAs off, then more keywords. 🔵 Blue ✓ removes only a small share of real launches, so it is rarely the cause. On free and trial plans, also check you have not used your alert allowance.

Tip

Two campaigns beat one compromise: a tight, CA-required campaign you act on, and a wide front-run campaign you skim.
